Short version: Buildx is MIT-licensed open-source software. Use it freely. When you self-host it, you are responsible for your deployment. This website is provided as-is.
1. Acceptance
By visiting buildx.mayonlabs.in or using the Buildx open-source software, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, please stop using the site or software.
2. The software license
The Buildx source code is released under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the software, subject to the MIT license terms. The license is the authoritative document for software rights — these Terms do not restrict or expand it.
3. This website
buildx.mayonlabs.in is a marketing and documentation site. It is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice.
4. Self-hosted deployments
When you deploy Buildx on your own infrastructure, you are solely responsible for:
- Securing your deployment (API keys, admin credentials, MongoDB access)
- Compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
- Data protection for your users' conversations and uploaded documents
- The content and responses generated by your configured AI model
- Any third-party API costs (Gemini, MongoDB Atlas, Qdrant Cloud, Vercel)
5. Prohibited uses
You may not use Buildx or this website to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Distribute malware, spam, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system
6. Third-party services
Buildx integrates with third-party services (Google Gemini, MongoDB, Qdrant, Vercel). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service. Mayon Labs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for those services.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SOFTWARE AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8. Limitation of liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL MAYON LABS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE OR WEBSITE.
