Short version: The Buildx landing site collects anonymised, cookie-free analytics (page views and referrers only). Your Buildx instance is self-hosted by you — we never see your data, your users, or your API keys.

1. Who we are

Buildx is an open-source AI chatbot builder developed by Mayon Labs. This Privacy Policy covers buildx.mayonlabs.in (the marketing website) only — not the open-source software itself, which you host and control.

2. Data we collect on this website

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service. Plausible:

Does not use cookies
Does not collect personal data or IP addresses
Does not track users across sites or sessions
Is GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant without a cookie banner

Collected data: page URL, referrer, browser/OS (aggregated), country (derived from IP, not stored), and screen size bucket. No individual user profiles are created.

3. Data we do NOT collect

No account or registration data on this marketing site
No payment information (Buildx is free and MIT licensed)
No data from your self-hosted Buildx instance — you own and control all of that

4. Third-party services on this site

Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log the request IP. Consider self-hosting fonts if this is a concern.
Plausible Analytics — see section 2 above.
GitHub — links to our open-source repository. GitHub's privacy policy applies.
Vercel — this site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may log standard web server access logs. See Vercel's privacy policy.

5. Your Buildx instance

When you deploy Buildx, you become the data controller for all data processed by your instance (chat conversations, uploaded documents, user data). Mayon Labs is not a processor of that data. Please configure your own privacy policy for your deployment.

6. Cookies

This website sets no cookies.

7. Data retention

Plausible retains aggregated analytics data for up to 5 years. No personal data is retained because none is collected.

8. Your rights

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
